Over the past three years our Forums have successfully
demonstrated that the vendor and customer communities can share
the risks and rewards of market development to reduce either their
cost of sale or purchase. Many of you have asked us to expand our
Forum concept to add technology and functional areas. We listened
and have created the Hand-Held and PDA EXPO. |

Pre-conference - 1 PM - Early Investigation & Education
How do you justify the technology? How does it actually work in
roll-out? This session is for those with little practical experience in
the application of hand-held and mobile technology in field automation.
The format will consist of lectures, Q&A, and detailed system and
product discussion. |
| PURPOSE:
* Expose new and existing users to what is available now, and the
future in hand-held/PDA and related mobile technology
* Educate customers on how this technology can / should / will be
used
* Educate the channel on the current offering of technology and the
opportunity that exists
* Educate the vendors on the expanding opportunity and allow them
to showcase their products to potential buyers, strategic alliances and
resellers
* Provide an opportunity for developers to:
* Learn about the business opportunities from OEMs
* Meet with each other to discuss both technical and marketing
issues
* Investigate / probe new areas of opportunity (Internet /
Intranet / Smart Phones / New Verticals / Functional Areas) |
