Pre-conference - 1 PM - Early Investigation & Education
How do you justify the technology? How does it actually work in
roll-out? This session is for those with little practical experience in
the application of hand-held and mobile technology in field automation.
The format will consist of lectures, Q&A, and detailed system and
product discussion. |
| PURPOSE:
* Expose new and existing users to what is available now, and the
future in hand-held/PDA and related mobile technology
* Educate customers on how this technology can / should / will be
used
* Educate the channel on the current offering of technology and the
opportunity that exists
* Educate the vendors on the expanding opportunity and allow them
to showcase their products to potential buyers, strategic alliances and
resellers
* Provide an opportunity for developers to:
* Learn about the business opportunities from OEMs
* Meet with each other to discuss both technical and marketing
issues
* Investigate / probe new areas of opportunity (Internet /
Intranet / Smart Phones / New Verticals / Functional Areas) |
